Online Help Desk

For existing Clients we provide an online Help Desk facility where a request for support can be logged and later the status of the request easily checked.

Virus Help and Advice

The best way to avoid viruses is simply not to get your pc infected in the first place. Having said that, in the real world it's far moe difficult to be safe all the time.
Therefore:

• Always keep your operating system up to date. Windows XP can automatically install updates for you so make sure this feature is turned on.
• Instal good Anti Virus Software
• Keep your Anti Virus software up to date. Anti Virus software will NOT protect you if it is not updated. Most Anti-Virus software has some form of Auto-Update that we recommend turning on.

Some Anti Virus companies offer a free online virus scan on their websites for ALL current known viruses. One of the easiest to remember sites is www.antivirus.com provided by Trend Micro We would also recommend their excellent Antivirus/Firewall solution PcCillin.

Although not as advanced as some of the purchased Anti Virus solutions, well respected free software AVG is available from Grisoft's and will provide a decent level of protection, however, if you use only their free version, they offer no support.

Below you can find a list of the latest Virus Threats and also a list of the latest Hoaxes. Hoaxes are generally emails telling you that if you receive an e-mail message with the subject _____ delete it right away, and do not open it as doing so will wipe out your hard drive. There's a good change that these messages might claim to have been verified by a big name such as IBM, Microsoft or whomever. They also encourage you to pass along the warning as well. Please delete such messages and refrain from spreading these hoaxes.
